Women caught up in prostitution come from a multitude of socioeconomic backgrounds but make no mistake, prostitution is a form of abuse of women and is a blight on our communities.  In many cases, prostitution takes place in areas where children live and travel to and from school.  The Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office works directly with community organizations and local law enforcement to identify known prostitutes, their pimps, and prosecute all individuals involved in solicitation - including the John's.
